A recent study in theJournal of the American Medical Associationshowed that some medications can affect sexual behavior, including erectile dysfunction drugs, and other sexually transmitted diseases.
The research team from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore studied 1,350 men with erectile dysfunction and 1,700 men without erectile dysfunction.
The researchers found that men taking Viagra had a significant increased risk of having erectile dysfunction. The men taking Cialis also had a significantly higher risk of having erectile dysfunction. Similarly, men taking a pill of Stendra had a significantly increased risk of having erectile dysfunction.
“These findings suggest that while the erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Stendra, and Cialis are generally safe, they may not be suitable for some men with sexually transmitted diseases,” said senior author Dr. Richard C. Schrier, professor of health care epidemiology and senior author of the study. “These findings may have important implications for the treatment of this debilitating disease, especially if erectile dysfunction is a side effect of any of these medications.”
Viagra is the brand name for sildenafil, which is a prescription drug that treats erectile dysfunction. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis, which helps men to achieve and maintain an erection. Viagra is taken orally, with or without food, as needed, and is typically taken 30 to 60 minutes before sexual activity. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction and impotence.
Studies show that Viagra can cause side effects in some men. For example, one study found that Viagra users had a 69% higher risk of developing cardiovascular disease compared to non-users, and that the drug may also increase the risk of developing high blood pressure and stroke.
Viagra is also approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, or ED, in men over the age of 50.
However, there are other medications that can interact with Viagra, including nitrates, such as glyceryl trinitrate (also known as Nitrostat), and certain drugs for chest pain, like nitroglycerin.
In addition, Viagra is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension. In a study, researchers found that men taking Viagra were more likely to have a heart condition known as atrial fibrillation, or if they had been prescribed a heart medication to treat their condition.
“The research in this study suggests that Viagra may be used to treat erectile dysfunction,” Schrier said. “This could potentially provide a new drug class that could be used to treat this problem.”
The research was conducted by researchers at Johns Hopkins University.
The study used data from the Johns Hopkins Male Aging Study.
Researchers recruited 1,350 men between the ages of 40 and 70 who had erectile dysfunction and 1,700 men who had no erectile dysfunction. The study tested two medications, nitrates, or guanylate cyclase stimulators for the treatment of ED, such as Viagra. Researchers recruited participants from three areas in the United States: Maryland, North Carolina, and Florida.
In general, men with erectile dysfunction are more likely to have sexual encounters that last longer, and the longer they have sex. Men who have ED have more sexual partners, which increases their risk for erectile dysfunction.
The researchers also analyzed data from the National Institutes of Health and other research agencies to find that erectile dysfunction was associated with a higher incidence of cardiovascular disease.
“These findings show that a lower incidence of erectile dysfunction may be important for the treatment of ED,” Schrier said. “This study is important because it shows that it is possible to treat ED with Viagra without increasing the risk of cardiovascular disease.”
In addition to the researchers, the Johns Hopkins team also included an independent third-party data analysis to determine whether the results were statistically significant.
The researchers found that men with ED who took Viagra had a 69% increased risk of having cardiovascular disease compared to those who did not take the medication.
The findings also suggest that a lower incidence of erectile dysfunction may be important for the treatment of ED.
The Johns Hopkins study also found that men with ED who took Viagra were less likely to have a heart condition, and the higher incidence of heart conditions was a result of a lower incidence of erectile dysfunction.
The cheapest erectile dysfunction (ED) pills are generic Viagra, called.
The term "generic" refers to the active ingredient of a medicine or drug rather than to the advertised brand name under which the medicine is sold. It is a term referring to any drug marketed under its chemical name without advertising.
Pfizer made the originaltablet that is often referred to as the “blue pill”.The patent expired in 2013 which then allowed other pharmaceutical manufactures to make a generic version under the name of the active ingredient called Sildenafil. They are exactly the same medically and perform in the same way with the same side-effects.
As with most branded products, Viagra is sold at a higher price, therefore the generic tablets sold asare much cheaper.
Medically there is no difference between a generic medicine and the branded medicine, as they both have the same active ingredients to make them perform in the same way. They only differ in the “bulking” agents used to fill the tablet as the amount of active ingredient required, in this case Sildenafil, is very small. This makes the tablets bigger and easier to handle.
The main difference between generic andbranded named prescription medicines is cost with generics being much cheaper
Every pharmacy can choose what price they sell at, as there are no fixed prices. It will depend on what price the pharmacy can buy the drug from the wholesaler and the cost of their own overheads. They can they decide what mark-up they require and some pharmacies choose to sell some products at higher prices.

You will then know and have the confidence that all the brands being offered are genuine and will work in the same way. All the pharmaceutical companies are inspected by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to ensure they manufacturer the drugs to the same quality standard. This means that the key ingredient that is referred to as the “active” ingredient is exactly the same in all brands.
The other inactive ingredients that make up the bulk of the tablet are called “excipients” and can vary.
For those people who are allergic to or have an intolerance to lactose, then the is ideal for you as it is lactose free. You can check the additional excipients on the patient information leaflet supplied with your tablets.
Although medically all the generic tablets are identical, they may look different as they can vary in colour, shape and size due to the varying excipients.
The patent for, owned by Pfizer, expired in July 2013, which then allowed other pharmaceutical companies to produce generic. There are a number of companies now manufacturing which include Accord, Ajanta, Dr Reddy’s, Mylan, Teva, Torrent and Zentiva. Even Pfizer make a that they sell cheaper than Viagra although generally more expensive than the equivalent generic brands.

The medication may also be used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
Viagra (Sildenafil Citrate) belongs to a family of drugs called phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors. It works by inhibiting PDE-5, which is an enzyme that breaks down cGMP into another substance called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5).
